One of my courses that I like is
Ms. Garvin's World History class. She is one of my favorite classes this year as a freshman. She went to Purdue University and is a big fan of the college. The Boilermaker Special is the official mascot of their college. Ms. Garvin gets up at 5 in the morning and runs every morning before school. She is very energetic in the morning and is always in a good mood.

To start our year we are going to learn about the Renaissance in World History. We are starting in the 1400s to the present day. In February we are taking a class trip to an art museum. Also, we are talking a lot about art during the renaissance era. Ms. Garvin is very good with technology. She is always using her iPad for attendance. Also, she posts our homework and many other assignments on her website.
Another thing about Ms. Garvin is that she is very fun during class. She has a regular grading system of 40% for tests, 40% for projects, 10% for homework and 10% for participation. Ms. Garvin does not accept people who do not participate. She wants everyone to participate and give 100 percent. I am very excited to have a full year with Ms. Garvin.
